8 die from suffocation in cold chain vehicle in central china -凯发国际娱乐试玩

eight people were confirmed dead due to suffocation in a refrigerated truck in central china's henan province early sunday, a local investigation team said.

the eight people stayed in the insulated compartment of the vehicle, which was against regulations. they were found unconscious when the vehicle arrived at a gas station at around 10pm saturday in hongzhuangyang township in yexian county and were confirmed dead as of 3am sunday after medical treatment failed, the team said in a statement on sunday.

the vehicle driver and related responsible personnel have been detained, and the cause of the case is being investigated.
